Since 2004, Finagle has sponsored closed captioning for all the Red Sox games on NESN. Finagle was proud to partner with NESN and the Boston Red Sox to bring the color and excitement of the Red Sox’s announcer’s booth to all members of Red Sox Nation, including those who are hearing-impaired.
When the group providing Closed Captioning to the Red Sox and NESN contacted us, they told us that closed-captioning was first requested by a young, hearing-impaired boy living in the Boston area, who wanted full access to the Red Sox games. He loved watching them on TV, but without the closed-captioning could not enjoy all the action. The previous sponsors - another, much larger purveyor of a round, baked good - had discontinued sponsorship of the program a year earlier, and Finagle jumped at the chance to participate.
We thank Media Access Group, NESN, and the Red Sox organization for the opportunity to participate in this fabulous program. We look forward, with the rest of Red Sox Nation, to the season.

We do more than make great bagels. As a Boston born and based company, we pride ourselves on our efforts to support the communities in which we live and work. The Dimock Community Health Center is a vital health care organization to the residents of Boston and the surrounding communities. To raise funds for The Dimock, we installed change boxes in many of our stores and we have now reached our goal to raise $10,000 for the Dimock's Child and Family Health Care center. We thank you for your support!

"Finagle is Going Green."
Finagle is doing its best to eliminate waste and take better care of the environment. We have added recycle bins to all our stores, eliminated all plastic carry out bags and consolidate packaging and cardboard for recycling at our Newton headquarters. We continue to look for ways to be greener.
